10 Ways to Re-Purpose Private Label Rights Content

Today we will be covering some handy and profitable ways to re-purpose PLR Products. Nothing difficult, most are quite simple and easy. Let’s get to it…

Private Label Rights refers to a type of license that you can purchase along with a product that will usually give you the right to resell a product with no limitations. This often refers to digital products and allows you to buy something like an ebook or an online course and then sell it on to others. It can be a very profitable little business.

But that’s not even the best part. The best part is that you can also edit a PLR product to your heart’s content, thereby helping it to better fit your branding and your message, or altering it to add value.

What this also means is that you’re free to re-use the content in other ways too. Just make sure to read the rights of the product completely because the rights can and do vary. You sure wouldn’t want to be a troublemaker, right?

Create a Video

Make a slideshow using the content from an ebook, or you can read it out and thereby ‘perform’ said content. If you are one of those that might be a little too afraid to show yourself and talk in to a camera, there are plenty of images and graphics you could use as the video display. There are also explainer options. If possible though, it can really build trust with your audience if you show yourself. Just saying.

Create a Podcast

You could read the content aloud into a inexpensive microphone to come up with your own audio product. This audio would most likely be an MP3, which you could sell to practically everyone with a device. Plus, podcasts are still quite popular.

Create a Larger Book Package

Want to offer even more value than you already are? Then how about combining content from multiple Ebooks into an ultimate package of some sort. This way, you can give someone a truly comprehensive experience that will be worth more than the asking price of each book individually. Not only are you adding value, but you are creating something bigger. Bigger is better.

Create Multiple Shorter Ebooks

A profitable way to charge more for your ebooks is potentially to separate them into multiple shorter books. This way you can create a series, with each one encouraging your visitors to read the rest. You could create modules for say, a learning system. Just a couple ideas.

Create a Short Report

A report is often a short PDF that provides information on a particular topic or subject matter. If you can take a single chapter from your book or a forward, then this can be used as an incentive to collect more downloads. It could be used to get subscribers on a email list as well.

Create a Member’s Site

Why not take your ebook apart and put it behind a pay-wall? This way, you can sell access to a repository of information. There are plenty of membership plugins for wordpress, for example. Having your own membership site is very accessible these day. Imagine getting payments every month like clockwork. Not a bad situation.

Create a Physical Book

Using Lulu or Amazon, you can self-publish your ebook and start selling it as a real, hard-copy tome! There are still plenty of people, myself included, that prefer a real book in our hands. Not to mention, it can be an incredible feeling to hold your very own book in your hands.  Some might say, a real author.

Create a Kindle Book

Or how about uploading it to Kindle and selling it through the Kindle store? Now, pre-made PLR does need to be changed enough to pass. They don’t take PLR, as-is. Still, even changing it up is faster and easier than starting completely from scratch, right?

Create Emails

Email marketing is an incredibly powerful form of marketing and by breaking your ebook down into chapters, it will lend itself perfectly to becoming an ezine. Or just messages to fill up your autoresponder and more importantly to stay in contact with your subscribers.

Create a Phone App

If you’re feeling really ambitious, then you could even turn your ebook into an app! If you can swing it, creating an app for both Android and iOS, you could tap into TWO huge groups. Double the audience.
